Another possibility is for a "good" GM and a "bad" GM to be sepparated in court, and anything loosing money be heaped into the "bad" GM and liquidated. Good GM survives and moves onward without the debt dragging it down.

This could also help them get rid of some really awfull dealers (not all, but some definitely need to go) without the threat of a lawsuit - and also enabling GM to bypass state franchise laws.

50th Ed.? like 50th anniversary? doesn't your car have to be in production for a full 50 years for that to make sense?

let's do some math...

1967 - 2002 = 35 years

2010 - 2017 = 7 years (your supposed 50th ed. is really 7th)

35 + 7 = 42

42 - 50 = 8

how is a 50th anniversary edition possible if a car has not been in production for 50 years?

This isn't the car that will save GM. It's a great car and should sell well but GM needs alot more than this Camaro.
