I wouldn't be that mean. I can't have kids so I watch over my dog as he's my only son! He was given to me for free and I cherish him. This morning he went to Starbucks and they gave him some whip cream. He refused to eat it off a plastic lid so I had to stick it in my shot glass I got from Vegas. He also receives steaks for his b-day. I also let him climb ontop of my laptop so he can watch Benji on dvd. I could on and on but I would get sick of typing

A few years back I left my house in the company truck, drove about 130 miles to the first service call. I was on the site for about an hour. Jumped into the truck and drove about 75 miles on the interstate and noticed my tool box lid was not locked. I pulled over to lock the tool box and heard a cat "meow" Lo and behold one of my wife's favorite cats was under the tool box. I was afraid to coax the cat out on the interstate, he might run across the highway. I traveled on till I found a dirt road and went about a quarter of a mile away from interstate. I was able to coax the cat out and put him in the cab. I still had another 75 miles to go to the next job site. Well when I got to the job site I had to work outside for two hours in the west texas sun and heat and the cat stayed in the cozy truck with the engine running and air conditioner on. I know I just took up 2 minutes of your time you will never get back, BUT!! THAT WAS MY WIFE'S CATS GREAT ADVENTURE.

Everyone has their own opinion on this...except the dog.

The dog does have a say in this. How do you know? Look at how he/she is breathing. Tongue out & panting...the dog is hot, and you shouldn't have kept him/her in the car. Simply put, each situation is different. Sounds like it wasn't that hot...but you also have to look at how the dog is behaving.

You could've whipped out your own pencil and pad of paper to write down HER plate number. Then when she asks you why you're noting down her license, you tell her it's so you can anonymously provide the police a tip where to find her body.

As someone who leaves their sibling in the car and have been left in the car with car and air conditioning on..it still sucks. As for the lady I don't think she's psycho just someone doing what they thought was right. I don't know, maybe she saw what would you do and decided if ever in the situation shed do somethig. IMO I don't think it was cuz you drive a camaro. Just live and learn

If your little old lady-busy-bodies would take the time to look inside the cars with the dogs they believe they are protecting, they ought to be able to see the second set of car keys in the pet's paw.

If the doggie is uncomfortable wherever his car is parked, he can always drive to a different spot.

Some people just don't think before they get all officious , huh?

My dog used to ride around with me all the time and I would leave him alone in for several hours at a time while I went to class. I never rolled the windows down never cracked the sunroof nothin I fail to see the problem with her leavin her dog in her car.

I drove a scout with no top on it, it was completely open and he always had food and water and was always happy

Why do people feel they have to bring their dogs with them where ever they go? I never understood that...cat owners are able to leave their pets at home...
