Bottom line is if a woman (or significant other for that matter) is unreliable and needs constant attention its not worse pursuing things very far. Considering the OP's age group unreliable is the only thing on the table for about another 7 something years. If I could live those years again I'd date only causally and save myself a ton of headaches.

If you never really wanted to hump her and you just like her, she's a friend. If you dated her whether you humped or not, and she threw down the friend card on you, walk away. You wanted to hump her and it's never gonna get any different.
You did the right thing to blow her off - let her precious new bf be her taxi man too. She's probably pissed at him and wanted word to get back to him that she was riding around in your Camaro with you so he'd get jealous. Games in games.
