yeah... right.... no, we've been down that road before and a member or 4 posted a thread about that topic and listed like 20 some odd members. I dont need to be a mod to do my part around here.

Let's see now, to back calculate......30,000 divided by 4 would be 7,500. 22 work days a month for the sake of argument so 7,500 divided by 22 would be 360 per day. and 8 work hours in a working day assuming Oshawa doesn't stop the line for breaks (don't know the answer) and assuming a single shift operation and you have 42 Camaros per hour. Well within most assembly plant line rates.
So the issue is how fast they can get Oshawa to full line rate. And this may or may not make 4 months possible. But assume a month to get to full speed that would be mid April and then 4 more months would be mid August. So they could run a higher line rate, not sure of what is possible. Could add a shift, but not sure that is likely in the current environment. Could run OT and Saturdays. Please don't interpret the above as the real deal. Just posting some math to continue the discussion.

seriously tho, the potential is there. will it happen, i doubt it, but I would be willing to bet that they are within a month of their "proposed" deadline

Honestly though, when you posted that it reminded me of last year, but it was Dragoneye who was beating me to the punch every time. I couldn't even add much of anything to what he said. It was annoying

I mean..... ummmmm.... sorry if im beating you to the punch. lol I know the feeling about adding to whats being said. the worst part of it is if I do say something in regards to another post, i have to expound on it. (apparently its hard to follow my mindset... go figure). but lately there has been a lot of tech questions flooding in as well as random questions that are asked while im online and I get to them first before the other 6k members do. lol. but if im crowding your intellectual prowess, I apologize. no dis-
