Love this show, but the last episode (Baelor) really pissed me off. I've just started reading the books, so I wasn't expecting what happened. Still a great show though. HBO never ceases to amaze me.

I don't read books.
 So I was caught a bit off guard. I thought Sean Bean was in for the long haul. I guess not. I imagine the inbred white trash will get what they deserve soon enough.

i'm one of the people that has read the books and find the beginning of it disappointing...
It did explain some things though, or at least made it more obvious, on some parts compared to the book.. ex:..renly's sexual orientation... |

I've been re-reading the books to refresh my memory of the books, and prepare for Book 5 which is being released in a few weeks. I'm just about finished with Book 3, and should finish Book 4 in time.
Loved the first season, and it did a very good job covering a lot of material. I can't wait to see how they cover next season, and wonder who they will be getting to play Stannis, Breanne, the Greyjoys... It's going to be hard to wait till Spring...but Winter is coming!

Got my wife hooked on this show, and she just watched episode 9 today. After she stopped crying, she swore off the show...
1 hour later she watched episode 10, lol.

I wish his daughter had pushed off that little inbred "king" when she had the chance. I have never heard of or read the books. I wish I had the time, but not now. :( The books are always better. HBO does some really good stuff: Sopranos, Deadwood, Band of Brothers, Big Love, etc.
