It will probably be measured in gallons per mile instead of miles per gallon.

Correction, you could never use all of it. I'm sure both can still be used but not to their full potential

I just hope it has good towing capacity so I can pay it off by hauling 52' trailers.

No, that's the Firebird motor...

If GM wasn't so close to Thomson, I am sure they would have grabbed one of NRE's. Here is a 2500 HP twin turbo 572. They couldn't go any higher boost on the pulls because he broke the dyno servos three times at 28 psi.

Check out this video at about the 7:15 mark.

I can't keep the power I make on the ground with 315's, and she's got some weight in the butt to help keep it down, how the hell would you keep a lightweight 2Khp car going straight let alone get it moving without melting the tires? Sounds neat, but unuseable

Speedster...speechless on that dyno pull. I need a COLD SHOWER now. Thankfully it is lunch time...507 horses just do not seem enough after watching that.

It isn't something that would be streetable. This is a 1400rwhp monster running 405s in the rear.

expensive 'sit & spin' aka donut city..make it a contender, make it AWD
..otherwise, w/ some weights and decent tires would make for a competitive tractor puller..
