Are those the fittings and hoses that just slide over the real hoses to save money or the real thing? Had some of those fake ones on my old 82 Z28.
This is what I vaguely remember the engine being like on the 86 1/2

If I had a fiero (which I wish I did) I would swap in a built L67 or a 2.0 TT cobalt SS Eco-tec.

These little cars are a blast especially considering how cheap they are!

Unhappy

I miss my dad's Fiero, he had the holy grail year 1988 last year of the car and the ONLY year they had the Lotus designed suspension. his was the 'formula' not the GT so it looked like the base coupe but had the 2.8V6 and all the extras as well as a sunroof. red with tan interior, black alloy rims. he sold it when we were in Florida, I REALLY wish I would have bought it off of him. it was a hell of a little car!

Yeah it's a shame GM supposedly made a profit on the 5 yrs of production. They finally straightened out and got rid of the borrowed suspension parts off the Citation in 88 then pulled the plug. Guess the bad press of earlier model engine fires was too much to handle upstairs

Are any of those "Ferrari's still around they made out of the Fiero?

That, and it was so much of a hit that the Corvette division pulled rank and made the accounts kill it.

Little two seater ate too much into their sales. Even though it was lighter, almost as fast, and sucked less gas. But it was the 80s.. and the age of the gas mizer was behind us with all the new-found oil from middle earth!

GM.. I had thought you'd learned when the Kappa twins came out.

Then you go and kill them.

:(

The rear cradle is almost removed. Wiring harness undone(all disconnect at firewall except one, thanks Pontiac) All of the engine braces are undone. All the cradle bolts are loose. All that's left is to get the car on furniture dolly's, remove bolts, and raise the car of the engine, trans, cradle.
