ok, i'll call it a potato cannon. Happy? lol. but really, I wouldn't use that as a coffee can since i don't drink coffee and i don't like the taste of exhaust. And as for whale ****** . . . I never knew they were that big!

I've always called them Coffee Can Exhausts.
Never heard 'Spud Gun' before. Though I find 'Grocery Cart Wing' much more descriptive than Book Shelf. LOL |

Park Bench? Guide Dog handle?
I like the Shopping cart handle, though...it implies you need to push the car...

I can't see the pics, so maybe they answer my question, but how about a "major" mod list...is it a single conversion? Stock fuel/metering?

Let’s see…
Weed eater exhaust... Pissed off hornet simulator… Never heard potato launcher and/or spud cannon… Nice ride, always had a thing for the Supra...

Well, if it makes you happy...I'm gonna go out to the garage, stick a potato in there, and see if I can't get a good launch out of it.
I might be able to hit that damn dog across the street that's been barking all night!:(

the terms I use are park bench for the spoiler (but only if it's metal or carbon, the molded one that comes with the supra is more like the superbird/bee spoiler from the 69/70.
The exhaust is normally a Folger's can. Either way, the only time I'll ever make fun of a supra is if it's non turbo. They're still fasst, but anyone with a turbo supra is FAST in the world of ricers with plain stock. |

If they're fast in the world of ricers, what are they in the Pony Car world?
Pavement? "Had to do it"

Depends on what they have. If they have money, It'd go either way against a modded camaro or mustang. Stock for stock, I'd say probably a second or two slower than a SS camaro. But last time I checked, the supra was selling for a few grand less than it's pony car counterpart so with that extra grand, the supra could catch up. Plus it looks better a 4th gen and handles better too, especially stock for stock
NOW: THESE are ricers. Ricers are basically anyone who mods their car for looks as opposed to speed. If you have a park bench and ground effects, but a stock muffler, you are a ricer. If you've sunk 10+ grand into your import and haven't hit 13 seconds in the quarter, you are a ricer. I feel like Jeff Foxworthy now.... ![]() EDIT: BTW I have plenty more car pics. |

Thank God you have a sense of humor! and you can dish it back too... BTW, great pix you have of the Supra. Like I said before, there was a time when I wanted to pick one of those up...had it not have been for $$$...it would have been mine. Very nice. |

In fact, the 93-98 Supra turbo, in STOCK form, outperformed all the f-bodies, mustangs and other imports of it's time, with ridiculous numbers: 0-60 in 4.6 seconds...12 second quarter mile... however, they cost an arm and a leg @ $38-45K a pop. Hence the halt in production. (Or, you could buy the non turbo model for around $25-30K... and get beat by a V6 Firebird.) lol In either case, you'd be pretty hard pressed to find a completely stock Supra these days, being they are bulletproof monster engines that beg for huge power. As far as an SS Camaro is concerned, I can tell you...they taste like chicken. :p
