I was trying to talk my parents into an Enclave or GMC, they ended up back in a Lucerne.

DO NOT change the oil according to the OLM!!! Do it every 3000 miles. You will jump the timing chain because the oil plunger gums up and doesn't perform properly causing the tensioner to stick. I also hope they solved the burnt #6 valve issue. I really hate the 3.6L.

I had a 2009 SLT1 with 26k miles I traded for this. Regular oil changes 3-4K miles. Never had a problem.

LaCrosse was a little small. They were looking to load 4 bags of golf clubs, and luggage. Why they didn't go with the Enclave is beyond me.
