42K for top trim American V8 musclecar convertible (Camaro or Mustang) is a heck of a deal as it is, even better as you can get them lower! My wife is on the market for a vert and looked at a BMW 328 convertible .....ready?????? $58K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love camaros but dollar for dollar the mustang beats the camaro every time in the 1/4 from what i have seen.i love the styling of the camaro but if it were performance i was after i might change my mind .02
take this from somebody who is buying a camaro as we speak

cars are just expensive nowadays. but not for no reason.but theyre also way better in every which way (looks are subjective) than the old days.

True to a point things look better and there are lot more standard items. But I still feel that care are probably 10-25% higher in cost than they should be. 10 years ago a 4dr sedan went for 15-20 now they are 25-35. They arent that different

well if I were in the market for a 50k car it wouldnt be a 2ss vert camaro Id tell you that much. GT500, ZLI, vette, used viper all come to mind. And even at 42 grand Challenger, Zl1 still come to mind.
