Not a hijack but it seems thread appropriate.

Odds are, that situation wouldn't present itself. If a dealer is big enough to have 12 pre-ordered Camaros then they are doing well enough to not get axed.

GM has a stupid number of dealerships and its a logistical nightmare for them. Fewer dealerships = higher volume at each one. Hopefully the ones that get closed belong to people who own a dozen others (particularly dealerships for other manufacturers) and not the small family ones.

If youve been living under a rock somewhere the dealership closings are a surprise. This is the agreement with the govt. to become solvent and qualify for the loans. Believe me, there will be many more closings ahead.
