It's fine to be nosey, except just call your threads what they are, i.e. "What's your job"

...or be nosey and do a search first. This is a BIG forum and it's likely that broad topics like that have been covered 2-3 times before. You can always bump them to the top simply by replying.

I think you'll find that most people on here have really different financial situations. A lot of people can afford their cars just fine, and others can barely afford them. Some people have really crappy jobs and they've saved enough over the years to buy a nice new car like the Camaro. Others have a really big cash flow, so laying down $600/month on a fully financed SS is nothing for them. Do a search for the threads. You'll see

Like others have said, it's not just the job you have but the financial situation you're in and how you manage your money. I have a decent job, but made many sacrafices when I was younger......have 5 kids. Well I'm in my late 50's and the kids are all moved out and on their own.

Now it's ME time. I have 5 vehicles including a fairly new Harley Electraglide, a 67 Camaro Convert. and my 2010 Camaro.

You sound young, so take care of business now, so you can enjoy life in your later years!

I actually have 3 jobs...

1. Full-time "only" parent to a 3 year old daughter & 5 year old son (widowed) (unpaid with money but paid with by

from my kids)
2. Full-time college student (graduate in May (BBA in Finance) ~ the Camaro is my graduation present to myself) (unpaid ~ classes paid for by government & employer)
3. Full-time at an automotive supplier (been there 13 years) (not paid enough!!
