Since I'm admittedly more interested in good looks (what I find good looking anyway) over power (though I do want a V8 Camaro) I'd look into-

Chrysler 300 (Touring)
Pontiac G8
Pontiac G6 GXP
Dodge Avenger RT

Right now, that Avenger would be my #1 choice.

Haven't really thought about it. I would probably consider an EVO or STI. Other than that, I don't think I'd be willing to spend that much money on a car.

I don't refuse to buy used...sometimes you have no choice. But, i'd prefer not too. For the same reasons...it's not all my car, it was somebody elses.

true. i would only buy a older car used like something i would re build anyway but not a new one because you will never know what they did in the car or how hard they drove it or what it has been threw. they could have rode nakied in it farting on the seats and you would never know lol i will only sell my truck for a new SS camaro if i have to wait another yr for them to come out then i will . but that is the only car i see my self selling my truck for

It's called piece of mind and I know what I've traded in before to be someone elses "used cars." Besides, there's nothing like rolling away from the dealer in the new car w/ the new paper tags...the new car smell, and not a single ding or scratch on the car. Talk about perfection!

1. Top V8 Camaro or Base LS3 Corvette (Tied for the top spot)
2. 2009 Boss Mustang w/ 5.8L or 6.2L engine (still rumors)
3. Dodge Challenger
4. GT500 (if I manage to find a late 2008 model that some dealer is dying
to get rid of after all the hype is gone).

Those are all the cars that I can realistically expect to buy. Of course if money weren't an issue I would get the new Blue Devil Vette.

1. New Camaro...whatever the wallet can afford
2. Pontiac G8
3. rwd Impala (if they decide to make one and it not be stupid looking)
4. Current Toyota Camry SE(they really look good to me)
5. Mazda 5 Mini Van(hey i'm a family man too)
6. the next Nissan Skyline GTR(will be way too pricey for me though I'm guessing)
7. The new possible rwd offering from Nissan(cheaper than 350z)
8. Maybe just maybe the new Challenger(Dad used to have one)
9. 08 Magnum (still that family man instinct in me)

Thats about it, but for now I'll drive my base 2000 Impala, it will be paid for in just under 3 years, so until then all I can do is look at whats out there, and it looks to me like there will be alot of very fine choices by the time I can buy.

My biggest problem will be how long can I keep the car stock. One week is my guess & then the engine comes apart & the Twin Turbos will be added.

I dont really know. I dont like mopar or ford that much. the camaro will have the room needed if I have to take the whole family somewhere. what ever it is it will be American.

I did just get the wife to agree on a corvette!

Updated, since GM would like to get the Volt out soon, I'd like one of them - AND a Camaro
