Used 300s with the 3.5L V6 are pretty solid and reasonable on fuel economy. Plus they run cheap used because they built so many.

People can keep coming up with some.
New Buicks are over our price point. Around 30k last I checked for both lines. We REALLY like the CTS but in order for us to get into an 08 it would be 50k miles for our price point. We just bought a CTS last week but due to hidden damage issues the dealer is buying the car back from me. Audis are great but again to much... Older benz are nice but cost a ton out of warranty.. |

i hate to say it, but live with the k's if you dont wanna pay a lot./
a great car like a cts with 50k miles, is way better than an aveo with 5k miles. im more curious as to how a guy like you is cheaping out, unless your scoping for someone else or curbing it.

Cruze. New well optioned can be had for your price range. It's what I'd look into. Or maybe even the new Equinox LS.

Is there a reason you are not looking at the STS? I have seen several 2006/2007 with about 35K miles fully loaded for around $20K with a nice 3.6L DI V6.

Honestly, did not consider it. Maybe I could test drive one. I was hoping to get a warranty which might be why I did not consider.
08 CTS can come with a CPO also I can mod the interior too for business. |

I can understand about the warranty. For the price range it's difficult to get a very nice sedan with the bells and whistles you are looking for along the line of a CTS. I have been looking myself. Test drive the STS, you will be surprise how nice it is. I was at a Caddy dealer after have been driving their 2010 CTS loaner car (the escalade was in for service) when I was test driving their used 2007 STS with the 3.6L. I thought the 2007 STS was better than the 2010 CTS's 3.0L V6.
