The OP was talking up the sound. They never lifted the hood. All there was to judge in the video was the sound.

Have they dinoed the car yet? If so, what was it?

For real, the 440 has forge inturnals, shit....everything is forge and it's a iron block, and I think he could have gotten away with on S/C, but I think he is pushing it with 2

I rather have a NA engine then to have it blown, that's why I would take a 7.0 Liter 426 HEMI

I was just messing with him...

my point was that the true sound of a car can be altered by a shi$ty camera.

Beside it being a twin S/C Frankenstein, you people need to realize that most cars that sound like they are going to die are the ones that are going to smoke the shit out of you at the track.

I'm not saying it's slow...I'm saying it's riced out. If you know anything about forced induction, you do NOT want heavy valve overlap...your positive pressure coming into the cylinder goes right out the damn exhaust. Heavy overlap is for N/A cars because the escaping exhaust gasses help to pull the intake gases through the intake valve.

So although I'm sure that Challenger is quick...it was done for show, not go.

Heres what "RDP" Said on the Challenger forum.

Quote:
Ok guys we have just finished building our RDP Challenger which will be on display at next weeks PRI Show, with the aim of well over 1000rwhp and being also able to hold its own on the show scene and race track. We aim to prove the strength and reliability of our RDP products and associated vendors products to the untlimate test.
Please feel free to drop by and say hi to us at the Kooks Stand at the PRI Show and check out our ride.
The RDP Challenger is powered by and 1 of a kind Twin Bullet/RDP Harrop Supercharger system
Arrington 440 stroker motor with custom RDP camshaft.
Is backed by the factory transmission with a RDP TCM (this is not a B&G unit) 4000 RPM RDP Street/Strip Torque Convertor
Quaife rear end with RDP 1200+rwhp 1/2 Shafts
Chrome Moly 1/2 roll cage from Big Daddy
Kooks Long tube Headers With RDP Custom race exhaust system and RDP Mufflers.
Billet Technology dress up kits
Nitrous Express with RDP Nitrous Plates for just that little extra kick if we need it.

I would very much like to thank the following people for their contribution to this project.

The RDP Crew Bull, Joel, John , Gillian, Lynn, Peter
Bullet and Harrop Engineering Tom and Dave
Arrington Engines Eric
Predator Performance Chad for the Paint and Body Work
Kook Headers Pop KooK and Chris & George
Big Daddy Performance for the Roll cage
Nitrous Express for the Nitrous System.
Village Chrysler/Dodge Bill
So......Muscle Master....nice going on HP estimate.

BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT merf... you should also know that heavy over lap is not a bad thing with FI. at idle, yeah it sounds like it wants you to put a shotgun blast thru it, but im sure once it gets spinning it will run a LOT smoother.

I like it. but i wanna see it go WOT.
