Never thought it would be. Again, my goal is to make the car it's own unique thing, not copy the existing one.

i like it, poser 302 or not, it looks great! But then again, I owned a 1965 427 Shebly Cobra replica.

I see it in the picture, it looks pretty awesome. Did you do the kit yourself? What kind of engine did you drop in?

I got it!!! You could put in a big stereo with huge subs and call it a "BASS 302".

Yes, and I supposed you have no problems telling everybody about your fake doctorate too.

Inauthentic people never seem to think there's anything wrong with being fake. (this is not directed at the OP who seems less inauthentic than "Axe").

In his defense, he's not wearing the 1969 "C" stripes the new 2012 has. Besides, the same people that nag on him for having Boss 302 stripes on his car when it's not really a Boss, are the same people that will nag on 75% of this forum for having "Z28" stripes when we're not really driving Z28's. They're just classic car purists is all; let them have their fun.

If anything, my car is the most authentic to heritage because I'm wearing hockey stripes which were available for the SS. So nyeh, I WIN.

(See how stupid that sounded?)

If I had a real boss I would remove the stripes. So I guess you know my feeling.

THANK YOU. Finally, someone who understands that I'm not trying to copy the existing boss.

Put 'Mach 1' on the back bumper and 'Shelby' across the windshield and your good to go.

Personally it would look great if you took the 'Boss' part out.

I think it looks good and if you are happy that is all that matters.

I would never do that to 1 of my cars though.
