As far as I know this mod is illegal in most places. It is awesome though! Although you'll probably get like 8mpg...

Back in the day... I had a Pinto (think it was a '72?). The mixture ran way too rich, AND the muffler dragged on the ground. Sparks would ignite the rich exhaust, and flames would shoot out the tailpipe (and from various rust holes in the muffler). Even got pulled over by CHP one day for "being on fire."

Not my finest automobile. (also had no brakes, aside from one rear wheel which was either fully released or fully locked only... later, I used a hacksaw to chop the roof off of it... and, one day, the county came through to dig sewage pipe ditches, and I asked the fellas if they would mind using the backhoe to dig one more hole, and drop that thing into it. They thought that would be fun, so that ol' Pinto is still in the same gravesite it was dropped into 25 years ago).

That's an Opel. They made a Vauxhal (sp?) also. I believe they were all basically the same car though.

Think Monte Carlo, Regal, Cutlass... lol
