I think I've asked this before, and I can't remember obviously lol, but are the 8-speed auto going into the SRT8s?

It seems like i have seen 700 for the 11 models, not sure. Is it possible for the manual to have one and the auto not to?

Yes. It all depends on EPA ratings for each.

If I had the $$$ and a big garage I'd have a black Challenger R/T base auto, New dark blue/ blk top Mustang 5.0 conv' delux auto, and keep my IBM 2010 Camaro 1SS 6M. (three medium optioned ponys)

to the big three's muscle cars.

Edmonds has it at $44,480 with no option but the performance tires, gas guzzler tax, & destination.

So, $50k out the door sounds about right.

id believe Edmunds over anybody here. Anyways, not a horrible price. Too bad you cant get a low optioned car with the 392 though!

TTL really 5-6k? ANywho, i agree they should have a base model with the 392, decontent it lux wise, leave all the performance stuff, give it the TA hood and it could be a new Challenger TA. As a plus getting rid of all the luxo stuff would reduce the weight by what, a couple hundred pounds maybe?

40k plus the 5-6k (apparently) ttl for a similar model and 4k may get you a blower, but no supporting mods and bye bye warranty......

44,480 + GG tax 1400 at least = 45,880

45880 + TTL = about 49,000-50,000

He had said the 44480 includes GG tax and summer tires.

BUT the only thing I see on edmunds is this http://www.edmunds.com/dodge/challen...2435352c303030

They are guessing and considering they were way off on the Chargers base price......

Anyways, 43100 as I stated previously plus 1400 for gg tax (which i am sure is a guess as that was last years and this years SRT will get much improved fuel mileage, and the fact that dodge has not stated the amt or which ones would even have a gas tax) plus 80 for 3 season tires and there you have the 44880.
