yeah there were some crazy powerful 4 pots back then. The numbers almost seemed cartoon-ish haha. I'd love to see FI come back. The first year it's back there will be all kinds of restrictions and they'll probably run 700-800 hp, then subsequent years will see HUGE leaps. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see 1400-1500 hp after a year or two if they're left free to develop. I only say starting at 700-800 because they'll have all kinds of restrictions.

i think the coolest thing is that when they first started limiting turbos, they were LIMITED to 4 bar haha that's 58 psi.... that's rediculous haha

Not sure about 1000+ HP engines. Everybody is so worried about driver safety that it might be difficult to make happen.

Ya it's a big IF they let them free to develop as they want.

can't wait to see the kind of power they get out of these things. although I am sure the regulations are going to keep the power down.
