That slope is sick..... lol

I drove semis for 9 years. Talk about blind spots.... lol But even then, driectly behind and a part of the right side wasn't too bad.

Ive lost to many large objects in the pass side one in my 3rd gen that at stops where a cross street has no stop sign, I lean forward and back to make sure nothing is hidden behind it before I take off. Really suck when you gotta jam on the brakes n look like a dope

I drove some big crane trucks at a sign shop, needed a CDL but no one had one. Kinda just drove on a wing and a prayer.
But it is real easy to lose sight of whats behind you.
Lost a compact car sized sign once, never heard or saw a thing.
Lucky it was one we had just replaced so it was already scrap.

This is what I have my mirrors set to. I can just barely make out the sides of my car, everything else in the mirror's range is other cars. Once a car passes out of the mirror it's coming up right in my window.

On my passenger side, I can't see the sides of my car even if I lean in. But I actually used a car in a parking lot and adjusted accordingly so I could see them in both rear view and side veiw.

Wink Inscrutable drivers...

One can always adopt the Beijing school of driving rules:

Never use mirrors at all.
Keep one's gaze fixedly straight ahead.
Never make eye contact with another driver, or you lose your dominance of the road. If you feel too weak to stick this last point, where dark glasses at all times.

I guess it's just me, but this car has no more of a blind spot than any other car I have owned. Buy a Traverse it has blind spot mirrors built in. I don't remember what nascar driver said it, but he said there are no such things as accidents just a driver that stopped driving. Any accident I have ever been involved in, this has held true. Of those only one was my fault.
