were going to deep fry some turkey's . inject the turkey with 16 oz. for a 10 lb. turkey with some louisiana injectable marinade then deep fry in peanut oil 4 minutes per pound @ 300 degrees, then drain it and let it cool 20 minutes , talk about good !

BBQ this year, smoked last year. Also had it fried (never did one) and it was very good!

Love some of the brine and marinades you people are mentioning!

The smoked turkey was awesome this evening. I'm going to buy a fryer for Christmas and next Thanksgiving after hearing good things about deep fried turkeys today. Surprised that more people didn't chime in with the deep fried votes.

My folks brought some roasted turkey from home to us in the hospital. Wife has been in labor since 2am Wednesday.!!

Getting tired, and there's not a crying baby yet! =)
