Luckily that car didn't get caught up in Cash4Clunkers... I bet alot of really decent cars bit the dust that way...

Well the car is finally home, had a problem bringing it home, we only ended up with the valet key, which means that the car will not go in to overdrive & we cant get in to the trunk lol.
but over all its a pretty good car.

Well the black sheep aka the black Milan is now outnumbered 3:1. My brother's potential new ride. Nothing special (columb shift impala? Betcher ass..) but bench seats FTW.

my dad had a 89 grand prix that he loved but some 1 smoked it while it was parked on the street in front of our house and it was written off.

yea we had a 00 gtp daytona pace car & it was a great car. loved it but needed a truck lol. so we traded it in for my 99 silverado.

NOT HAPPY what so ever, The tranny is messed up!!!!!! havent even had the car a full month & the tranny is still not going in to over drive, Changed fluid yesterday & there were metal shavings in the tranny pan. called the dealership today Not thinking they would do anything but they are willing to do part of the work at cost.

Called my tranny man & he said he knows what it is & it shouldnt be that pricey. But up most cost would be $3k OUCHY thats what we paid for the car. called our local chevy dealership & he said a rebuilt one through GM is 2k plus installion. which we can have the dealership we bought the car from do it.

Still to high, a built tranny with all the goodies would be less then $2000 shipped from a catalog. Someone local should be able to rebuild yours with said part even cheaper. If the case is still good.

Ugh. Trannies are the reason I now have an F-Body and not the Exploder. At 125Kish the 5R55Es always start puking on Fords as if on que.

Now my 4T65E is running fine but my Monte's LQ1 is about done. Salivating with the planning I'm doing now to engineer an L37/4T80E swap..
