So my car is on empty right now. I'm going to go get gas tommorrow, does anyone want to take a guess at how much it will be? It's $1.93 right now.

If this economic downturn is intended to stick through next year, I don't see any reason for prices to shoot as high as they used to be. People have learned to drive less, and I imaging that OPEC's compensation may not be the only factor this time. We may be seeing the dawn of a time when people simply don't blow gas like they used to blow it.

Last year's fiasco was entirely artificial. It shouldn't go that high again (naturally anyhow) for a good few years.

I don't see it going higher with the economy crapping out, thats why the price of oil is falling. I'm betting it will be below 2.00 for the forseeable future. One other thing, Whats the highest you've paid for a gallon? Last year on the edge of Death Valley, I paid $6.3something per gallon.
