We sleep safely in our beds because rough men stand ready
in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm.
— George Orwell

Somewhere in Afghanistan men are fighting so we can stay here state-side and enjoy sleeping in a warm bed. Never take the luxuries of life for granite..you only have them because somebody fought to earn them for you.

Thank you to all past and present military members, your service is never forgotten.

Thank you, and you're welcome.

It really means a lot to us service members, to know that we have your support and best wishes!

Tomorrow I will be marching in the Veterans Day Parade in San Diego to honor those who have served, and are currently serving. Coming from my line of history.. There has always been atleast one, actively serving, at any given time ever since the Revolutionary War, be it Militia, Army, Navy, Marines, Airforce my family was there to do our great country proud. I'm DAMN proud to be serving this country!

Thank you Vets, thank you active duty, and a special thank you to those serving overseas right now, come home safe.

It is the Soldier, not the minister
Who has given us freedom of religion.
It is the Soldier, not the reporter
Who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the Soldier, not the poet
Who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the Soldier, not the campus organizer
Who has given us freedom to protest.
It is the Soldier, not the lawyer
Who has given us the right to a fair trial.
It is the Soldier, not the politician
Who has given us the right to vote.
It is the Soldier who salutes the flag,
Who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped by the flag,
Who allows the protester to burn the flag.
~ Charles M. Province

US Army SGT 1981 - 1986, Everyone in my immediate family, (father, sister, brother) including my mom who served as a military housewife for 22 years. Never forget the dependents........ it takes alot to make a military family work when one of the parents is constantly serving from a far.

Thank you and your welcome!
