New dashboard update = FAIL - Page 2

You guys should have re upped a few weeks back they had it down to $39 as an incentive before the price hike. As for the update it's not much different. I could care less I usually just jump into the games so all the other crap on there has remained unexplored by me all the way back to the blade interface.

you can get a 'family' subscription to XBL for $99 which is good for 4 gamertags. So theoreticly if you and 4 friends go in together on it you can get it for $25/yr.

I haven't looked any farther into this than the video that was on inside xbox so I don't know if they're gonna put a restriction on this where they all have to be on the same console or not.

Its on Buy.com right now for $39 for 12months. Mine expires in a few days so I am hopping on it before they catch the price increase. Best Buy has it for $59 which is insane.

Id bet when its closer to xmas the real deals will appear, for now they are gonna stick it to those who don't keep up with xbox news and didn't lock in the lower price.

My Live doesn't expire til March 2012 so I'm good, I'm sure there will be deals between now and then. New dashboard is just plain. I understand with the Kinnect and what not, but just meh!

exactly, would be nice for those of us that don't plan on buying a kinnect to have an OPTION on how we want it to look. Though I must say, it seems a little bit faster going through some of the menus now... will have to play around with it more tonight to be sure.

Who wants to stand up and jump around to play video games anyhow?? I tried that type of crap with the Wii and didn't like it. I'd always use the clasic controller to play mario kart. I'll take my controller and sit in my recliner over that stuff any day. If I need exersize I'll pop in P90-X.
