if you guys want custom ringtones you should go to audiko.net

you have to download the ringtone you want on the computer and then upload it to itunes and it should show up on your phone when you sync it.

Audiko.net is great! Super easy to use and I love that you can upload your own music and cut any part of the song to be the ringtone. I have the 3GS.

I also recently bought myself a 16GB iPad w/ 3G. Love!

I just got my iPhone 4 about two weeks ago. My last phone was a Blackberry Curve 8330 so this was a big upgrade for me. I have custom ringtones to avoid this problem But you can't change the text message sound besides the preset ones without Jailbreaking so thats still default.

I am a huge gadget guy. I read news about phones, tablets, PC hardware, TVs, cameras, etc all day long. I was originally going to get the EVO 4G on Sprint since I had been a long time customer of theirs. I was on an Employee discount plan through my sister-in-law who works for Sprint and could have had my EVO 4G for $30 a month! The problem was that I had to wait for the phone to be available to Sprint employees to purchase, which it still isn't.

I tried out the EVO many times in stores and also the iPhone 4. The EVO/Droid X/Droid 2/EPIC/HD2 are all great phones with bigger screens. My problem is that those screens have lower resolutions than the iPhone 4. I have picky eyes where I can easily see pixels on LCD/LED screens, refresh rates on CRT monitors, and RGB pixels on old TVs. So the Retina Display with 960x640 on a normal size phone makes it the best display of any smart phone out there. I can't see any pixels due to the 326 dpi. Thats more than most high end computer monitors.

The Android Market may be less restrictive about apps but the iPhone apps tend to be a lot more polished and work a lot better than Android Apps. My wife did get an EVO which she paid for through Ebay (she's also on the Sprint Employee plan). Comparing the apps that are available on both phones, they run smoothly and without any problems on my iPhone but sometimes lock up or run at slow frame rates on her EVO. I will admit that Android phones are much more customizable and open but this leads to slower menus and less battery life.
