College Football, 3rd Week...Make Your Picks?

Michigan should drop a few places in the polls too after that weaksauce against Massachusetts. OU looked unprepared for Air Force. Houston losing to UCLA means Texas better be prepared on Saturday when UCLA shows up.

Texas' win against Texas Tech may have been ugly, but at least we now know we can pull out a win even when the game gets ugly. Texas will need to work on their turnover margin and penalty mistakes this week.

And Boise State is showing that they belong in the top 10 with their performance this week. They'll have to continue to hang half a hundred on their opponents if they want to remain in their #3 spot, especially considering how weak their schedule is. Oregon State might be a tough game this week, but I doubt it.

OU has Cincinnati (a 2-loss team already) this week, so that should be a sad game.

Texas A&M has a bye week and then Oklahoma State the following week, but I have a sneaking suspicion that Okie State might pull out the upset in College Station.

Alabama is playing in Arkansas this week. I'm not-so-secretly rooting for the #12 Razorbacks in the upset of the year. I'm betting the crowd at Razorback Stadium is going to be amped up for this match-up.

Anyone else have any predictions?

Ya they should.

A win is a win is a win.

OU played a team with on offense style they see like once every 3 years. And Air Force is a good team. They play 8 teams a year who are very familiar with them. They always win their out of conference games.

And same with Texas. A division game against a team they play every year. A team that is very familiar with them.

Means nothing.
