Usually people that arent good at video games hate FPS's . Me I hate NHL 11. Im damn well convinced that EA hates me. I had 47 shots on goal one game and lost 1 nothing when the other guy had 15 shots and he didnt even score off a shot. The puck bouned off my defenders back and floated into the goal.

uh..i don't think it has anything to do with not being good at video games. maybe they just don't like FPS? I'm not going to say i'm the best gamer out there, but i'm pretty good at games that i enjoy. Mostly football, NCAA and NFL, and racing games, like forza and NFS. I also enjoy a good RPG.

WOW, when i picked mine up i felt like a loser "only" getting the heroic edition. i strolled up to my gamestop at 1230 and everyone in front of me bought the reach edition xbox...... i guess im not a true fan.....

I bought the standard edition at walmart with no reservation and got a $20 walmart gift card for some reason.

COD sucks for the record, if you're going to make a realistic shooting game, it has to be more realistic than halo. I dont want to see a guy running around with 2 shotguns, I dont want to see a guy in a 5x5 room survive when a gernade is tossed in there, I dont want to see a 556 round...1 single round go through a cinderblock wall and kill the guy behind it. Plus the perks keep getting more and more ridiculous. Its to the point where a needler in halo is a more realistic gun than what COD offers.

Halo is where its at for B.S. action.
For sims nothing compares to Ghost Recon Island Thunder. Hands down best shooter ever.

WTF O and Halo is so much more realistic with there lazer guns, being able to gun 30 feet in the air and Aliens! Give me a break! Im sorry but Halo is no where near realistic.... Its a nice game but not realistic at all!

His statement made a good point, you just tried to ignore it because halo is set in the future with fantastical elements. The only thing realistic about COD is the graphics, and to a small degree the physics.

I love FPS, but i'm more TF2/UT style. The "realistic" games fall too far short, and wind up simply making frustratingly stupid decisions to try to balance game play in a realistic world, because at the base of it: its always a game.

COD is just awful. It's amusing for quick games when you're bored, but the amount of BS that goes on in the game is just stupid.

And COD is? Yeah, I'm going to enlist in the Army with my Cold Blooded perk. That way, I won't have a heat signature. Also, after I kill seven enemy insurgents, I can call in a random Harrier to hover over a city and gun down people even though the Harrier's VTOL system isn't designed for prolonged hovering. Then, once I kill 25 people in a row, I can get the US to launch a nuclear missile to kill myself and completely decimate the area I'm fighting in.

Oh yeah. Totally realistic.

Oh, don't forget that once I unlock Commando Pro, I can jump off a 30 story building without hurting myself.

The day I got a freaking hit marker with a .50 caliber anti-materiel/sniper rifle and the guy survived, I knew COD was total BS. Shooting someone center mass with a .50 cal should make their body explode into tiny bits, not create a little X on the screen.

I got to watching an old episode of American Choppers and skipped the midnight event. Too tired. lol I picked it up at bestbuy this afternoon and got a $20 gift card. I like it so far. Played some of the solo and a little multi player. It's very well done visually. As for the whole COD vs Halo debate, they're both fun games with different styles. I like MW2 and play a lot. To be honest I really never played a lot of Halo multi-player. Most of my friends have PS3. I you want realism go to the gun store and buy a G17 for $500 and a box of 9mm's then hit the range. Now that is fun!
