Exactly right. My wife went through a period of time like this. In fact, she and I both did. We ended up seeing a psychologist and it greatly helped. It helped her to feel normal again and me to recognize some signs and try to help avoid her feeling that way again. I would recommend getting to a psychologist. If that doesn't work, medication may be the answer (as a last resort in my mind). If neither work, cut your loses and go find someone who can make you happy.

Take it from me Zoloft helps, but too much has actually made me feel worse.

I am serious; I am hoping (expecting) that a red SS/RS in April is going to help me a lot, because it is hard to smile much now, but I think that will change!!!!!

thank you allll for your kind suggestions and advice, it is honestly greatlyyy apprecciated more than you could possibly know!! It's just upsetting to see SUCH an amazing guy get so hard on himself over the past few months :( it's hard for me to watch, even though i may not have had any depression or clincal problems..i use to be the "negative nancy"
if you will and he was the one to always bring me up, it makes me wonder if it's just my turn to step up and be there for him..of course at the same time i dont want to crowd his space and make things worse...

Keep in mind that different people react differently to situations. Some people can cope with things mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually while others cannot. He made need the help that only a professional can provide. Being as supportive as you can is all that he can ask of you.
