We have a couple of dealers that order skip shift eliminators from us and offer them to customers before they even take their cars home. Guess they got tired of dealing with complaints in the service department after the sale.

Skip Shift is for gas guzzler tax purposes. A skip shift eliminator or the Diablo Predator will eliminate that. If someone is going to get the Predator then it will be a waste of cash to purchase a skip shift eliminator. The V6 won't need a skip shift because they come in Auto only so yes, to answer your question, the skip shift applies to the RT and SRT8 models.

Thanks Stoned, I found a thread on Challengertalk that mentioned the Predator as well.

My 2010 Challenger SRT-8 definately has the skip shift feature. I had an old eliminator from a 2005 CTS-V I no longer own. It fit and works great!

I had it for about a day lol. This is my second Challenger so I just popped the 93 CAI tune on and got rid of it. Some people will get the skip shift eliminator installed as well so when they remove the tune to go get the car serviced they won't have that annoying feature.
