I'm not really fond of the idea of a mid engine Vette... i like the longer stout nose deal.

I would like to see GM build a $120,000-150,000 mid engine sports car, but not as a Corvette. The Corvette shape is part of it's heritage.

Take this concept and redesign it like today's Art & Science Cadillacs, please.

Plus GM has had a rear engine car, and a mid engine car.
Corvair was the rear engine design
and I believe GM pulled the Fiero because it was starting to out handle the corvette.

I think it had more to do with poor sales and media coverage of engine fires...

Driver position has nothing to do with it. Its the engine, relative to the axles that dictates whether its front, mid, or rear engined.

Corvette should remain the same. If anyone gets a mid-engined car it should be Cadillac.
