I will not have a front license plate in my camaro either. I'm in Texas. They can give me a ticket but I'm not gonna drill into the front bumper no matter what.

Where will the front license plate go?

Place the rear of the of the suction cup in the hole from front of the plate. Do this on all 4 corners of the plate. Now suction the plate to the lowest part of the middle of the windshield (obviously with the plate number facing forward). You CAN see the plate when oncoming to the vehicle, so cops shouldn't pull you over. I also keep a copy of the plate law printed out in every one of my vehicles. Nowhere does it say that it has to be physically attached to the bumper. Just says that it needs to be visible from the front. Yes, you can just jam the plate down in the crevasse between the windshield and dash, but over time it will actually scratch the dash when it moves. I've never once had the suction cup option come off fully. Sometimes one will pop, but I just stick it back in and no more worries. I did have one cop argue with me about my suction cup idea, and actually gave me a ticket, but I went to court and won. Ha! Guy was a douchebag. Anyway, just thought I'd share. |

It will be in my glove box, just like it is in my 2010. Illinois requires them too, but I won't have one.

Ct is a 2 plate state but it's not enforced. I bet one in 10 cars here don't have a front plate.
When my SS came in 6 years ago, I removed the bracket from the trunk and filed it.

As said Texas, they stop you for tint and front tag or anything else they can dream up.
I have been stopped twice for expired inspection that was not expired. Officer checks you out and then says he read it wrong. Got to have a front tag esp. if u drive with more than a Dr Pepper on way home from work. |
