Well it all worked out great. I put on my best sad face & all my guys decided to go to Louisville after all. Most everyone had tried to back out but in the end I think they could not stand for our wheels to roll without them. It was a fun ride & a nice uge show. The MCCC & DCCC club displays turned out great. The show was so huge you literaly could not see it all (at least not in the amount of time we had). I'll start a thread where everyone can post up pics & will put a link here. One of the best parts for me was seeing the huge permagrin of club buddy Brian "Sparky" who was showing off his newly supercharged Camaro. Then there was Phil (Lone Wolf) with his new underdhood & even more performance mods and also the new Hotwheels Camaro of club member Dave & his wife (actually her car, he already had a very nice Camaro, also in the display). Bare with me a moment while I share bad news.....

My brother that had the brain tumor passed away at 8pm. I'm from a large family, 8 kids in all, Jerry was the oldest. He was also very special to me.

People are glasses of water, some people aren't satisfied till they have emptied your glass, some are careful to give back only what they take. Some leave you with a full glass to overflowing. Jerry was the latter,

The Lord bless you and keep you.
The Lord make His face to shine upon you and be merciful to you.
The Lord turn His face toward you, and give you peace.

Good Sunday morning crew. I downloaded (or is it uploaded, I never know which is which) more pics from the Carl Casper Show to the thread (link previously given). Included in it are pics of an Impala just like my family owned when I was little. I loves that car. This one is now a low rider but otherwise it is just like the one we had. It is the first time I have ever seen one like it at a car show. I still have videos to upload & the pics from my I phone. I hope when other club members are able to get their pics added they will have been able to got pics with the displays in while from a distance before the show opened as that was impossible with the crowds. The displays were awesome. I also hope they get pics of more of the really cool cars there. It was just one of those shows you really needed a couple of days to really see & enjoy all of & not just the few hours we had. I feel refreshed. It was a really good day. Today we have some housework to catch up on then visiting my dad & Mike's parents. I can't wait to show daddy pics of the Impala plus some of a truck very similar to one he owned that was his favorite vehicle he ever owned. Have a good Sunday everyone.

We had a little get together yesterday....



Watched this guy from inside the bar we met at. He spent a good 5 minutes taking pics!



Then a few of us took a fun little cruise through some GREAT twisties!



It was really cold out at the lake, so we didn't stay long.... hit the twisties on the way back, too!!!

Great pics everyone. I wish I could drive mine but its still snowing here this morning. I am hoping it will start to get nicer in a few weeks. I am feeling a little slow this morning as yesterday my wonderful wife threw me a 50th birthday party. We had a lot of friends and family over and I may have consumed just a little more Crown Royal than I should have LOL. That and a few other shots as well. Oh well I dont get carried away too often and hey you only turn 50 once.
