Well its Friday and the one day a week I look forward to its raining here as it is in many places. I call every friday "camaro friday", its a day set apart from the rest of the week that gives me a reason to drive the car----- but its really raining and we get standing water here and you can fill in the blanks. I didn't drive the camaro due to the chance of getting into a wreck.
This place is full of diff driving styles due to the military being such a big part of everyday life, everyone is driving like there is no tomorrow (70-85) without looking for others that may be on the road
So today already suxs

Ok I feel better, thanks for reading. I use to look at the older people in my life and wonder why they bitch so much, now I know why----- I am at the same age as they were back then. I have the right to bitch

Hope your friday goes better now, I will carry the load of being cranky for everyone today

Good morning crew. Rainy here too. And I woke up with my back hurting again. It might be time for a new matress. Okay now for that unusual Friday pic I promised. This is not a pic I pulled off the interned. This is my actual current blush container. I have used this kind for quite some time & have never even seen it wear unevenly like this much less start to smile at me. I'm taking it as a good omen & hoping for good things to come. Go out there (or stay in if wiser) and make the best of what may be a yucky day for some of us.

Can't believe I hadn't heard this one before. Got it off of Camaro Fanatics:

What A Scary Flight
After waiting for what seemed like an eternity, the stewardess announces over the intercom that "we're just waiting for the pilots."

The passengers look out the window and see two men, dressed as pilots walking towards the plane. Both men are using guide dogs and appear to be blind. There are murmurs among the passengers, and some believe it is a joke.

The men board the plane and go into the ****pit. More concerned murmurs and uneasy chuckles from the passengers. The plane taxis normally to the runway and begins it's takeoff. As passengers look out the window they realize they are nearing the end of the runway. The entire passenger cabin begins screaming but the plane lifts off just before the end of the runway. The passengers calm down and chuckle to themselves, at this point believing that they fell for a joke.

In the ****pit, the pilot turns to his copilot and says "you know, one day those people are gonna scream too late and we're all gonna die!"

I can't believe C5 censors the word "****pit". What's next? ****les, pet****, ****spur, **** of the walk, ****ney, ****tail dress, ****atiel, ****atoo, ****er Spaniel, ****apoo, ****roach, ****iness?

Yeah, I thought so. That's bullshit!

Oh c'mon, seriously! It let me post that word, but not ****pit!

TGIF!
Rob's dad was a no show too. Restraining order extended a year.I had to go to the PD to drop the order off tohave him served, and my SUV wouldn't start when I tried to leave. Could be worse places to break down... Officer friendly helped me, made it home, but today I have to... um, get to take Ladybug to work. Hope the roads aren't icy, the weatherman was talking about freezing fog.

Good evening crew. My back continued to hurt all day today. That's it! It's off to buy me a new matress tomorrow. I don't like pain! Today is my father's birthday. I called him just now & will go see him & take him his present this weekend. It is sad to think of him alone in that assisted living facility, but he seems content there (most of the time) and has not been sick a day since being there. He is safe & cared for & not alone at all really, just not with family. I guess we will all be in a similar status if we live long enough. I am sooooooooooooooooooo glad it is Friday evening. What a long, hard week it has been. I need to start me a countdown to retirement, T minus 8 years & 5 mo. Have a god weekend everyone.

My mom is happy in her assisted living. They have so many activities. Nice for you to visit him Jan! I'm sure he loves it. I take my mom to church every other Sunday from Assisted Living.

A good buddy was having a car show today and I had volunteered to help. Planned on driving the Camaro over, even though 41* was a bit too cold to lower the top.

Well, it was still dark and I did not see the field of metal debris until the last second. :(. Whatever I ran over, it gouged the right side bumper cover, punctured the tire, punched a hole inside the RF wheel, scuffed the rocker molding, and cosmetically damaged the RR wheel. Pulled over, got the air compressor and tire sealant out and tried to get back on the road. Since it was still dark, I did not notice the huge hole in the wheel, but kept commenting how crappy the compressor was. About 12 vehicles were also pulled over with flats or other damages.

Since no one in Scottsdale had a tire and wheel in stock, Chevy Roadside paid to have it towed all the way to my garage.

I'll post some photos later, still sick about it.

Soooooooooooo sorry to hear that. I would be sick too..........in fact, I'm sick for you. I guess that is reinforcement for My husband's decision for the first mod he made to his SS. He fount the sealant/compressor option unacceptable. He bought a spare tire for it that actually fits in the trunk just like mine does & fits over the brembos like mine wouldn't. I sure hope you are ablt to get it all fixed up good as new ASAP.

Well, Both Mike 7 I got new matresses purchased today. They won't be delivered until Wed so I may have back problems a few more days then it will be all better. We found a great sale on "end of the year close-outs" (as if anyone cares if a matress is this or last year's model LOL). We also got a new shower curtain rod I have been wanting for a long time. The kind that bows out making more room in the tub/shower. I drove Ruby on a nice curvy country road this morning & took a special gift to my uncle Bailey. He was the Ford guy counterpart to my dad the GM guy. He has been trying to fix up a first gen Mustang that my cousins wrecked as teenagers for years. Before my mother & her sister (his wife) died I had agreed to get on a Mustang forum & fish around to try to find a transmission for him. I got on the forum & started asking some questions. Then they both started going downhill fast & that was the end of that. The forum has still been sending me e-mails which I just ignor. They started sending ones about getting a free Mustang calendar so I ordered it for him. When it came I had to laugh as it not only had Mustangs on each month, each one had hot bikini models too. It was just sooooooooooooo uncle Bailey! He loved it and it was good to spend a little time with him. It was a pretty good day.
