So trying to figure out what the difference is between the end of the 6L80 and the 6L50 where the driveshaft connects. Having no luck

Am I wrong when I say that the SS drive shaft bolts up to the V6 A6 trans?

O idk, looking at 1-piece driveshafts and I'm wondering if I can just buy one for an auto ss or do I need one specifically for an auto v6 with ss rear end.

You could always talk to BaylorCamaro (Chris), I know he had a SS diff and a custom one piece drive shaft before he sold his LLT.

Menendez, thanks so much for the extra tip on the pad sizes. I got them today and I didnt even know how much that 1.5in difference is. The 4in are so much smaller than 5.5

No problem, and yea 1.5in doesn't sound like much but it really is a big difference. I personally would never do a detail on my car without them again. Just wait till you actually start the work, that is when the true fun part starts

The result at the end will be amazing

Scared... I am a little bit.. First time so. But I am testing first everything in the beetle. Need to do the best shots possible to see the defects and then after... I can't think of anything else I need.

Ehh you can't really mess anything up unless you try so there really is no reason to be scared.
