Good morning, changing the subject here but I'm cold. I sure miss Florida. This week Sarasota was in the mid 70's during the day.
It's been 0 to 15 here in N.W. Ct since our return Tuesday. 7 degrees right now.
Ours isn't in yet but this is my Wife at our next door neighbors pool this Tuesday :

Now you've got me thinking about a retiring to Florida since Honolulu is out of the question. The hard part is giving up my oversize 3 car garage and our theater room. Winters and cost-of-living here (i.e., home prices) in OKC aren't bad, but "tropical" is my kind of living!!

I just want to get away from the N.E winters. Sarasota was in the mid 80's the week before, and mid 70's
this past week. 74 when I took the photos Tuesday. We are keeping the house in Ct and building 20 minutes from
downtown Sarasota & beaches. 3 car garage which has A/C, inside water, lots of electric plugs,
big windows- car guy ya know- lol.

The one against him was actually an order to vacate.... the order of protection was against my father in law.

Well I'm home, unpacked & the tasks of laundry & other post vacation duties begun. Tomorrow we have an officer's meeting for Music City Camaro Club see I look foward to seeing the crew again. The roads were not bad on the way home but the poor Yukon gained then lost quite a few pounds of ice in the process. There was more ice on the trees (and everything else) at home than anywhere along the way. There had been quite a few wrecks along our route & around here during the day but all were cleaned up before we came through. We only saw a few trees down & none around home. The power was on & had not gone out though a neighbor must have had a problem because we could hear a generator going. I guess we managed to time it just right.

You can see why they call them the Smokey Mountains, and this was a "clear" day.

Yeah as in "I was behind an 18 wheeler that went under an overpass that was too low & got his trailer stuck. Sure enough when the officer arrived he said 'Did ya get your truck stuck?' and without missing a beat that truck driver said 'No I was delivering that bridge and I ran out of gas'.............Heeeeeeeeere's your sign".

Good evening folks. We had a very productive meeting with the MCCC group at the dealership that is now one of our sponsors. It was good to see the crew again. They had a black convert ZL1 in the showroom then we saw a red coupe ZL1 at the mall. It kind of made me a little sick. It had fingerprints all over it & folks were rubbing all against it. I sure know one dealership where I would not go to buy a red ZL1 right now or they would give me one heck of a discount & re-clearcoat it.
