Diane, sorry about the negativity about mariage... the deceit going on in my life just has me pretty jaded right now... I'm just ready to move on and be happy again, and everything seems to be moving in slow motion.
I had the last 2 days off, so today feels like Monday - and tomorrow is Friday, so this is a really short week for me - YAY!!!

I'm the one that should apologize. I was just thinking selfishly that I hope all men don't share the same thoughts on remarriage! Sorry LBM, I know you are suffering right now!

I can't even imagine being remarried. I am one of the lucky ones that got the right girl the first time. We have been together for 25 years and I don't even want to think about life without her in it. Sorry to those that have not been so lucky.

Good afternoon/evening gang. Apologize have been really selfish here Many things going on pertaining to work and not checking to see what's up. A lot going on. LBM truly sorry for what you are going through.:( Hope you can be happy again soon.

Food Truck Night in our Hood at 6. Burn a few walking. Eat a bunch at the trucks and burn a few walking back. It all evens out right? When get back going to sit down, relax and do some real catching up here from the last couple of days.

Yep, don't know who to trust, but you can't hold that against everyone. I think that old saying is"better to have loved and lost than not to have loved at all", might have misquoted, but hopefully not too badly.

Hi Skyman! I hope all is progressing well. I was kind of hoping I could come down and go treasure hunting with you, as I seem to have some extra time on my hands.
The axe finally came down, I got my "pink slip" yesterday. Tomorrow is my last day. I'm actually relieved. A lot of stress lifted off my shoulders. The company is in a spin, and the CEO has the throttle firewalled, with the yoke in his lap. I feel like somebody just handed me a parachute, and I'll be able to watch the inevitable fiery impact from a safe distance. I will miss my office though...

School is in my future. I'm in no real hurry for a job yet. I'm a little concerned about a lot of the plans we made for this Summer, since starting any new job usually means no vacation (WCOFF, Lillooet). I need a degree. I have so much experience, I can do a lot of the good jobs; but they all require that piece of paper. Experience and know-how seem to count for little these days, and pedigree is everything. As evidenced by so many of the idiots I have worked for in the past. I'm not knocking people with an education, I'm just speaking of the ones who apparently spent their time at college in a drunken stupor, or who were taught theory by professors who had no real world experience.

Your boss probably forgot the carb. heat and to full rich the fuel mixture. Sorry to hear it finally happened Gary. Good luck with school or job or whatever you do. I know you'll be fine but it may take a while to get to where you want to be. We're all on your side here.
