I think they messed up getting Ocho. Ocho's a good reciever but they already have two guys that play a similar style with Welker and Branch. Ocho's not the deep threat like they had with Moss. So automatically he falls behind Welker, Gronk, Hernandez, Branch. Ocho really hasn't had a fair shake since day one.

They need a tall reciever with hands and some speed. Tough find. Imagine if VJAX went to the Pats like rumored last year? Would have been ridiculous.

Anyone else notice how much the lack of a running game hurt the Pats last week? Wonder if they will address that.

My thought was that he was signed as more of a decoy and that the TE's and Welker would be the focus....... Ocho doesnt have the speed anymore... he needed to catch that ball as well, but give it a few more weeks... the pre season was 1 month.. it takes a while to get acclimated to the Pats offense.... as long as he doesnt become a distraction he'll be there.. start mouthing off and he's gone in a heartbeat but BB likes him so he'll have some time to prove himself... the lack of pre-season hosed him and its tough to learn on the fly with the Pats O... Ocho certainly didnt give up 34 pts to the Bills and he didnt throw the 4 picks either..

Certainly not blaming any game on him at all. He's just not one of Brady's targets right now. He's more of a check down no other option pass right now.

Oh I know, and I agree.
I think its the test of his career to see if he can be a good teamate... I do think he will get more involved as he learns the system better... Brady wont look his way if isnt on the same page as him thats for sure. This weeks is another good test for them in the black hole with the Raiders playing well

that's a tough one. Pettigrew is a favorite of stafford, but clark is the go to guy in Indy...Specially check down with the quarterback. He may be used to block more instead though.

I'd say clark anyways. Megatron is the workhorse in Detroit.

It's a toss-up. IF Peyton was playing, you wouldn't have to ask this question, I know. BUT....with an "unknown" QB starting his first game on Monday Night, I doubt Clark will even get ONE catch! Okay, he'll probably get around 3 to 5 catches and have about 40 to 50 yards. Pettigrew is playing on a high octace offense, but isn't the main target. But, they're playing against MY TEAM, with a very suspect secondary. So...if it were me, I would start Pettigrew. Just sayin......
