I did once blow up my grandma's mailbox with M80s. Well, really it was me, my brother, and my dad. I got the idea to put a string of black cats it, and my dad upped it by MAKING a string of M80s from that extra long fuse that the black cat string has on it.

She made us replace it.

If we had some actual rain.. been 2-3 years with various fireworks restrictions.

4th is gonna be lame this year in the sticks.

And I didn't realize I wasn't treating it like it was loaded... Except when it was being carried in the case, it was always down range/towards the ground, and when it wasn't being fired it was always safety on and chamber open as well.

P.S. - I use the 32 decible rated orange disposable kind. Trying to find a more permanent kind thats not the stupid full headphone thing and gets the same or better rating. Haven't had any luck. Any suggestions?

LOl funny thing years later when I joined the Army I went thru basic and AIT at Ft. Sill even though I was attached to infantry..when in I was a Forward Observer..with a V indentifier
