unfortunately this has been turned against us. This is fact not politics....our founding fathers made the constitution so the gov wouldn't get to big and push us around. Guess what happened.

Yep, they work for US! Contact your state people and tell them how you feel.
i will probably set a few fields on fire with everything so dry, but hey gotta keep warm some how.... ammo prices are just nuts right now, i saw people bidding on 1000 loose rounds for over a $1000 on gunbroker. people are just crazy!

MJRacing97 - just curious what you did in the military? One bullet for one opposition may be okay for a head shot, BUT - how many times have you seen someone take multiple 556 rounds and still fight the fight? I do not understand your one bullet comment especially coming from someone with possible combat experience. 30 round magazines are perfect. If they do drop to 10 I am okay with that and grandfather in the existing magazines with existing AR/M4 lowers pre ban (hoping they grandfather these in). I do not see a complete ban. They will most likely do a 10 mag approval for future sales only - and that is if they do not ban the future sale of these firearms.

I like this thought, but there is something else nobody seems to mention that ties into it. Our government/military plans on the possibility we might need to go into (invade), for whatever reason, another country. Those same countries, I promise, make the same considerations for us. Will it ever happen? Maybe not. But a good reason for the law-abiding citizen to own and maintain a firearm is the possibility that they will need to pick it up and defend their country against a FOREIGN power too... We have a great military, but it's not impossible to over-run.

Military historians claim that if Japan would have continued their attack rather than turn back, they theoretically could have taken some prime war-front property.

If we pissed off enough countries at the same time... it could get ugly

You do realize you can buy the extended 10 round mags and take the block out and get parts and make them into 30 rounders. How do you think people in cali still get 30 round mags with the ban here.

disclaimer:
(not saying I do this because I don't, but there are plenty of people who do)
