Back to working on my Camaro model tonight.

During my lunch break, I masked off and painted the rear diffuser, convertible top cover, front lower grill, and 2 off-the car parts including the cowl (which you will only see a little of) and the front upper grill. Painted them with some automotive trim paint, as it is not exactly black, but looks like a REAL dark charcoal gray.

Last week, I mixed some beige/tan paint as close to my interior as possible. It's a bit too yellow, but I'm not an expert at "making" colors.

Anyway, after dinner and after Mrs 69supersport left for work, got busy on this car. Had some decals for the dash to install, and a few others to install, then I went to town and assembled as much as I could tonight. I stopped where I did because I want to do some hand-polishing on it tomorrow, and it is easier with less parts attached to it (less chance of knocking parts off)! Still have the rocker moldings, bumper covers, hood, mirrors, and shark antenna to put on, along with a few more decals.

Just a couple of tips; the mufflers are "switched" on the directions page. Test fit them first, as I do not know if AMT has corrected this yet. But the left one is actually the right one, and vise-versa. Also, be prepared to jocky the back seat around to fit under the body of the car and, at the same time, apply some pressure to the rear of the body and chassis so the two tabs snap. You'll still need to glue them, but I had to man-handle it to go together.

This is actually a 2011 Camaro model, so the interior is a bit different if you want to copy your 2012.

That's about right.... It went well! Only had a variance of $179 - on an inventory of over $100k in drugs, that's pretty darn good, and can be explained by tablets we drop on the floor now and then... and we were done by 9pm, which is amazing!
Now I can focus on Friday and a weekend full of fun!! Rob has decided to be pissy because I didn't invite him to the Christmas party... REALLY??? He didn't go with me to WCOFF, or to Camaros in the Sand, or pretty much anything - and he wants to go to the Christmas party after I ask for a divorce. Sigh.....

With that kind of money, I would buy an assortment of cars. And a nice garage to house them.
