Thanks GretchenGotGrowl, will definitely tell them to Pay it Forward if I ever hear from them.

Also, my fellow Hellcat members from the Hellcat forum agree that you did the right thing and they appreciate you very much.

Thank you again and see you on the roads!
Greatly appreciated F6F and the rest of you Hellcat members, I only did what any person would do.

Thanks RAdams!

To anyone I missed, I do appreciate the thanks. I did what anyone here would have done had they been in the same situation.

I just hope the real perp gets caught and gets what he deserves.

I haven't logged in here in a while, but I just had to say Kudos to the whole community, and Mr Sarge especially, for the outstanding work in standing up for one of our own in the muscle car community.

And I wonder how many dashcam sales this thread has spurred?

OMG

I saw the video and was like wow that sounded like a nascar.
Then I saw the pics of the second challenger and immediately noted that it was the wrong car, I mean the tail lights and wheels are a dead give away.
Seeing how they handled the situation is actually really sad. And we need to realize that this happens all to often. Its actually a bit scary.
Im just glad you had dash cam footage, because if it was me, it would've been my word against the officer trying to explain how its an older model like any car guy would.

Unreal, truly unreal.

Thread of the year for sure!

Great work guys, truly great work.

Well done Mr. Sarge, glad to see people out there making sure justice (not just the law) prevails. Obviously the cop in question has become jaded over the years and I hope that he's taken some time to think about his actions and his methods of law enforcement. Way to serve!!!

Just wanted to update everyone here:

I did get contacted by the owner of the challenger that got pulled over.

He's a great guy, and he thanked me and was very grateful, couldn't tell you how nice of a guy he actually is, glad I was able to help him out.

That's really cool!

(Any word yet on whether he will make a guest appearance on C5 and tell his side of the story?!? Will we get details on the conversation that took place when he was pulled over, what charges he was originally hit with, what his time in the Graybar Hotel was like?)
