I got it, and for the money, I don't have a problem with it. I don't know that I'd go out and say it was worth it, unless you LOVE one or more of the "special" cars it comes with. I didn't care for the GTR model, though it's cool in it's own right. The key fob is cool. I haven't gotten a good look into the book, but I think it's cool to have. Considering I'm a GT5 fan, I'm happy I got it. Other regions got way cooler CEs, but they were also a lot more.

Bottom line: if you're a fan, it's cool to have and isn't too much more than the stardard edition. You get five extra cars, and depending on an promotions, your vendor may give you an extra special car, too. I preordered from Best Buy, and got a race GTR, which I wasn't excited about, but it's something, I guess.

So essentially I'll get five extra cars out of over a 1000...Hmmmm will I miss this?? I think I'm good. I'll just tell them to Get me GT5 and whatever they get me is what I'll get.

It took me a while but I finally got the gist of it. A wheel would help BIG time but I don't have one yet.
Do you or anyone know which Classic Muscle car was awarded for finishing that junk?

If you dont' care about these cars, and the other goodies don't mean a d@mn, then pass:

Audi R8 5.2 FSI quattro Chrome Line Edition

BMW M3 Coupe Chrome Line Edition

Lamborghini Murciélago LP 640 Chrome Line Edition

Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Coupe Chrome Line Edition

Shelby Cobra 427 Chrome Line Edition

JMHO

I'm considering a wheel, but for that price, I'm half-considering getting a "slim" PS3, because I have a "fat" one from late '07, so I'm not sure how much life she has left in her. I also prefer the bitstreaming the "slims" have that my "fat" doesn't. Otherwise, I had been looking at the G27; now - it looks like Sony's starting to push a new wheel...

Had I not gotten the Limited Editon version it would have taken me a lot longer to get through some parts of the game. Having a fully modded Lamborghini Murciélago LP 640 Chrome Line Edition with 870 hp does help a lot! With the help of that car I got Bugatti Veyron 16.4 with 1028 hp.

Yeah, the only thing screaming at me is that LP 640. That other stuff I usually think is cool at first, but after a while I just store it only to find it years later.

I like the R8 and the Lambo', but have driven niether. I've driven the Shelby, and it wasn't, too great. That was in Arcade, so I don't know if that matters. Maybe I didn't even drive my Shelby; I don't know. Either way - unless those strike you - don't waste the money.

I got the CE.. if you didn't know this, the 5 bonus cars you get in GT mode when you first start. So you can skip the used car lot to buy a random P.O.S. and go with a Lambo on day 1. That is always nice

The APEX Book is awesome too... I learned so much about driving techniques that I never knew before, as well as things on tuning. I have consulted it a few times already when playing with my car's tuning.

I'll be honest. I actually enjoy starting with next to nothing and driving the shit boxes for a few days. Makes me feel better when I get to the big dogs like my camaro, my other camaro, my other camaro, and my ten vettes, and the list will go on and on and on and on....LOL

I'm having fun with this. The license tests are a pain in the butt; I just got my international B license which is not easy. I have my 2010 Camaro and got a 69 Z/28 which I just put some mods in.

I wish they gave you more control over painting mods. It would be nice to have a decal mode where you could apply any graphic you want.

There are a few cars I definitely want to get... a Ferrari P3, McLaren F1... just need to make millions to get them lol.

I'm with Doc on having more control, but not only over what he's brought up, but most everything else. I wish we had control like Need for Speed gave us in some earlier games. I'll tell you the side exhaust you get on SS when you buy the Ti racing exhaust is Hella ugly, LOL. OMG. I'll still roll it, but it's rubbish to look at. I've only got some more minor stuff right now, but DEFINATELY LOVED getting the fully adjustable suspension! I was kinda' not interested the last week with this game, but once I got the SS and started earning more credits and mod'ing it, the bug is back
