HAHA!!! Yeah, on what appears to be such a gorgeous sunny day, the top should be down....

And for Foto-Friday ... a few shots from last week's Fall Brawl ...

Semi-final rounds:

me, on the left racing top-down ... woohoo!

Ruby, in the other semi-final (racing against SparkyDL75):

And a couple other shots I liked that I took of other folk's cars:

I wanted photos of my Camaro with the top up, since there are not many IBM/Tan Top and interior cars. 80% of the photos I have are from this particular afternoon in Sedona. The rest were taken at the Pavilions Cruise in Scottsdale.

Aha! So that's what that thing was!

I've put over 21k miles on mine and very few of those miles are with the top up ... and wasn't near as happy of a driver at the times I ran covered!

Luckily last winter was mild, so I ran top-down most of the winter ... folks in the club here thought I was nuts when I showed up to one of our meetings top-down, 38 degrees, with a big smile on my face!

Tonight was cruising top-down at 50 degrees ... I am so not ready for winter ... lol!

Winter around here stays pretty warm. Perfect top down weather almost all year round. During July and August days, the sun is pretty intense. On one occasion, I had to surrender to the heat. I can take it up to about 96*, but after that, the top needs to go up or the Camaro goes back in the garage.

Last summer, ran the A/C a bunch while cruising (and closed off the passenger vent and diverted the center ones toward me!

This summer, I hardly even ran the A/C ... not sure if it was cooler or if I just was enjoying myself and not paying attention.

I will run top-down pretty much any temperature down to about 40, provided sunny out ... no limit on upper end except if I am driving all day. I had one day this past year that after about 6-7 hours driving, had to stop for about an hour and ride the rest of the way top up (about 2 hours)... was starting to feel "out of it" - mostly due to road/wind noise.

Yup, I know that feeling. I was in Prescott Valley, AZ. My son and I just finished driving through Prescott National Forest where it was in the 80's up in the mountains. Once we reached Prescott Valley, it was over 100* and I was feeling out of it.

Well ... I am off ... hoping that I can get myself moving in the morning and drive a few hours east to meet up with a big group of cars cruising the Tail of the Dragon tomorrow (weather permitting - hopefully snow has melted and roads are dry). Y'all have a nice weekend!

Looks like the night of the verts.

Racing with the top down? They wouldn't even let me roll my window down when I raced!

Nice pics Rick!

Happy birthday and welcome RM65!

Been busy all day, so I didn't really have time to pick out anything. So with all the talk about Red Rock Canyon; I dug out this pic I took while I was there.
Beautiful scenery. And you can even see some rocks in the background!

Good Morning All!

Welcome RM65! Happy Birthday.

Gary, thanks for the kind words and the "Before" pic of Sally - beautiful even without her "accessories."

How are things in your neighborhood?

Good morning Linda!!!
In case you missed it, buried in all the gorgeous vert pics, I posted something just for you yesterday (and for Skip)
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...ostcount=26172

Puppy has a vet check up today, then off to lunch with a friend, and hopefully the rain lets up enough to give Ladybug a bath...

Have a great weekend!

Good morning crew. Lots of very nice pics/video yesterday. It is soooooooooooo cold this morning it is hard to believe it is supposed ot get up tp the 70's. I'll have to wait a while for it to warm up to start washing Ruby, then hurry to get her in the garage to finish detailing as now they say we may get some rain this evening. Enjoy the cruise Andy. Jealous. I want to do that cruise sometime. HAGD all.
