Well we are getting ready for Halloween here at my house. We usually get a lot of kids here and my dachshunds are usually a big hit with them. My wife and I were out the other night at petsmart getting some dog food and saw that the dog costumes were 75% off. We could not resist so this year the dogs will be greeting the kids in their own costumes. I think someone here is going to be partial to one of them (I wonder who that will be)

Have fun StentS and post us up lots of pics. At least we can live a bit vicariously through you. Very cute Doggie costumes! Good evening crew. I am still stuffed from steaks & fixins' at my mother-in-law's house. I can't believe that another weekend is almost over. This week will be weird because of Halloween. I have to dress up on Wed; they told us at the last minute. I had a costume (of course it has to be work & kid friendly) saved from a previous year I will use but wish I could have found a blonde wig. Most all of the Halloween stuff was gone by the time they told us. It is a medieval princess. I just don't think they would have had short hair, but Oh well. We will have a chili lunch for staff & I have to bring a dessert. We will give out candy to the kids too. At least it will break up the week a bit. Any of you do anything for Halloween at work?

Today The mother in me trumped the Camaro owner and I made a decision. I am going to take the $ I was saving up for my suspension upgrades & buy my mother's solid Cherry Dining room table, chairs, china hutch & table pads & give them to my daughter for Christmas. I can save again for my suspension parts but once these cherished family heirlooms are gone, they will be gone forever. And daughters are more important than beloved Camaros.

We're allowed to dress up on Halloween, as long as it's "client friendly". Unfortunately, some of my patients are frightened easily - one was brought to tears by a cat costume - so we just have Pumpkin T-shirts... and I look awful in orange.

I'm with you Ruby.... family is more important than the Camaros. We get to dress for Halloween if we want, but I can't find anyone but me that plans on wearing a costume. Bunch of silly work-a-holics!

Doing well but wet. The dogs really hate going out in this weather, yes I walked out with them so they would do their thing. I hope we don't get the snow they are calling for.
