I know! I got another trick to make it glossy!

I like shiny! So gloss will be the final but for now let's see matte white!

Man that looks sharp.. Great job. I need to do that too but just my wheel lips.. But have so much going on that I am not worry about that.. I did find out how to make MDF shinny like high gloss finish.. Lots of work but I think it'll be amazing.. Will be ordering the jigsaw and paint products soon and picking up a sheet of MDF at home depot

I'd like it if they had something functional there. Sure they look cool if you make them pop but other than that it's one of those things I think of 'why are these things here?'

Same question I have about the "mailslot" on the V8s. And spoilers on most every car...

Agreed on the mailslot, I only went that route since I wanted T3 ports.

Spoilers on most cars I agree mainly never look all that great, all depends. Not even hit or miss, mainly miss

My issue with spoilers is because of my aerospace engineering background - they serve no functional purpose (for most cars), but they add weight and drag. As far as design goes, I suppose they sometimes add some aesthetic value to some cars. The smaller, subtler ones don't turn me off as much as the giant high-wingers on (front-wheel drive ) imports.

That's true in the engineering aspect and I agree. I think they do add design since when I look at a Camaro or a Challenger that just has a blank trunk lid it looks weird to my eyes. Like my Seibon ST trunk lid has a molded spoiler. I got that since I wanted the spoiler not for anything other than look and being carbon fiber was just a bonus to lose weight.

I'm all for giant wings IF it's been wind tunneled, like what Voltex does for their parts (import types like Evos)

Only if the plastic is electrically conductive and has a fairly high melting temperature. Here is a company that says they can do it:

Wonder if they can do IOM lol, thinking about taking off my valve covers in the winter and sanding them down and just getting them powdercoated in IOM. Maybe I'll pm the guy who does powdercoating on here and see what he says.
