Never been to the Swamp ehh? Here's a fun fact: Immediately following the blocked Field Goal against South Carolina in 2006, the engineering lab at UF registered an earthquake from their in house richtor scale.

Thats how Kyle field is built also. They Built the walls straight up and have them slant at certain angles so when they lean over and start swaying back and forth the sound bounces off the structure and makes VERY LOUD Noise.

aTm registered the noise on a decible meter the year before last during the Texas game. Right now its that was and still stands as the 2nd leading sports even in decibles 1st comes from indianpolis motor speedway.

I guess that's your sign right there.... Big 12 is still working with decibles.... the SEC only works with Richter scales



Anyways my point is that isn't unique. UF's Ben Hill Griffin was built with amplifying sound in mind, combine that with crazy UF Fan's who believe it or not are more into football than anything ive seen from the big 12..... and thats why we are consistently one of the top 1-3 toughest stadium's to play in.

Loudest game I've ever been to at any sport was the UF vs. USC Game in 06'. We went to that game with my father and a couple of his Legal friends at the time, one was a Texas Grad.... He couldn't get over how loud it was and specifically referenced the games at Kyle Field. I can remember not being able to hear myself screaming at the top of my lungs at the end of that one.

So No, I've never been there.
