It's normal. There's enough space to fit a spatula wrapped in a microfiber cloth back there (aka my window cleaner). I think there was also some felt on the edge of the plastic to prevent if from rattling against glass.

The stripes, I looking for stripe idea for Jewel.


I also like the look of a painted black roof and just ditch the stripe idea all together.

I'll probably do black. I don't know how silver will look with the insert.
