F that.

High temp caliper paint, or hell, even better, pull the caliper and powder coat the bitches. as far as the "cleaner" part, I'd hate to see how much brake dust ends up being built up inside the cover after a few months, and how much could potentially be ending back in the caliper between the rotor and pads.

you can justify it to yourself however you need to, but for that kind of money, you can add more go fast parts and take the hose to your calipers once a month. its borderline rice if you ask me

Spade did a how to on painting your calipers on his blog. Its what I'm going to do.

whoa! 200 per? I went to rpi design and am able to get all four for 319. and that's custom painted to synergy green. And they look pretty decent. And it takes 10 minutes to install, so taking them off to clean wouldn't be a huge deal.

for sure, i haven't ordered them yet. lol there was a group buy in the "other" forum. but i think they didn't have enough interest, so i PM'd the rpi guy to see if i can get a little discount, but haven't heard from him. that was a few days ago. I thought 319 was a bit pricey, but if people are getting quotes for 200 per caliper, then i'm going to jump on this one pretty quick. lol

Going to wait until after the cable for my tune comes in and get my nitrous all squared away. Which it should be in the mail today!

$200.00 per set.

10 minutes to install, 10 minutes to remove to clean....

319 total is still too much for caliper covers.
