IK finished my 55th trip around the sun a couple weeks ago. It's been a good ride so far Pl;enty of good, plenty of bad. In retrospect, even thought there has been plenty bad there has actually been more good.

This is my second Camaro (had a '68 SS in the 70's). I've had this one almost 3 1/2 years and still think I had more fun in my '68, and I only had it for 13 months. Then again 18 (years old) was a lot of fun and not much work like I have to do now.

Honestly, it is REALLY pink. What did the paint can look like? I've looked at engine paints, and usually the lid is the color (or close to it) of the paint. If it's very different, I would ask for a refund, and find another color - that is, if you don't like it, which it sounds like you don't.

There's one called Maroon that might be closer to what you're looking for...

Maybe you could leave it pinks, and add darker burgundy flames... That would tie it all together, give you a little flash!

Good morning crew. Coffee time. I feel pretty good considering I worked on Ruby most of the day yesterday & was up until 2:00 AM then woke up at 7:00AM. After coffee, time for a nice long, spitrited ride in Ruby to let her learn her new mods. I'll let you know how much my permagrin is hurting afterwords.

Hmm....... Not sure I like it, with a red car. Almost looks like it is faded red.

Good afternoon all happy belated birthday Joanne. I was at a wedding on Fri evening for one of my co-workers and went out early yesterday for a few hours of driving to PA with a small group of other Camaros on an Elk run we had a lot of fune at bothe events. So I have not been on line much he last few days. I will post some pictures of the Elk when we get them off the camera.

Love the new wheels LBM they are perfect on your car. I like the concept and look of the painted manifold on Ruby but not feeling the color. If you decide to change it you can get an exact color match at paintscratch.com you just need the paint code for RJT. I bought the IOM paint for my engine cover from them and the match is near perfect. If the color grows on you then keep it you are the only one that really has to like it.

Good evening everyone. I managed to get in a short ride in Ruby this evening in between rain showers. All is well so far, no problems & I can already feel a little more peppy response. Ruby was able to re-learn the TPMS, window indexing, etc on just the short drive but I am told it will take maybe 50 or so miles for her to relearn how to function maximally with the new mods. I plan to take her out for drives every day after work (weather permitting) & if need be, drive her to work one day so she will be ready for our club's big drag race event this weekend. I am still brainstorming what I want to do about the manifold paint. I'm still glad I painted it. It looks better than before already & will be MUCH easier to clean. I'll figure out a plan for making it look just like I want it. Hope everyone had a good weekend. It sure did pass too quickly as usual. But it will be a short week for me as I have to get ready for our event & am off on Friday. Have a good week everyone.
